Summer is fast approaching us in the UK, and after a very wet spring we're finally seeing a stint of warmer weather.
The Met Office is predicting parts of the UK will be hotter than Spain this week, with blue skies and sunshine forecast until at least Friday.
In fact this weekend, London will see highs of 21C on Monday. The capital will also not dip below 17C this week, climbing to 19C on Saturday and 20C Sunday.
Elsewhere, Manchester will also reach highs of 19C by Sunday and Monday, with Leeds reaching 18C on Sunday and 19C on Monday.
Temperatures cool slightly by the coast, with seaside favourites Margate and Southend reaching highs of 18C after a cooler temperature of 16C on Wednesday and Thursday.
Then on Saturday, London, Barcelona and Madrid will all experience the same temperature - a pleasant mercury reading of 19C.

But on Sunday, the capital will enjoy 20C sunshine, whilst Barcelona will peak at only 19C that day. Forecasters say this will peak at around 4pm.
In spite of this promising outlook, The Met Office also warns of possible rain in the area. Its website says between Thursday and Saturday, we should expect: “Largely fine and dry Thursday, perhaps seeing the odd afternoon shower.
“Bright and breezy Friday, but with some scattered showers developing, perhaps locally heavy. Sunny intervals Saturday, feeling blustery.”
