UK travellers face chaos as Middle East airspace shuts after US-Israel strikes on Iran

Holidaymakers and business travellers from Britain have been plunged into turmoil after thousands of flights across the Middle East were axed in the wake of US and Israeli strikes on Iran.

Airspace closures triggered a domino effect across the region, with planes already in the air diverted or forced to turn back and major airports suspending operations as tensions spiralled.
