Hovis Ltd are urgently recalling one of their popular products due to an undeclared allergen.
The brand are specifically recalling their Ormo (Hovis) Food Service Frozen Pancakes with Buttermilk because they contain egg which is not mentioned on the label.
Because of this, the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to egg.

According to the Food Standards Agency (FSA), the company has issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers. These notices explain to shoppers why the product is being recalled and also informing them what they have to do if they have bought the product.
The FSA have state that their advice to consumer is if you have bought the product and have an allergy or intolerance to egg do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.
The product being recalled is as follows:

Pack Size: Box containing 12 x 4 packs
Best before date: All best before dates between February 8, 2023 to July 11, 2023
