UK snow map gives weather forecast until Christmas and shows when it is set to snow in Leeds

Some of Yorkshire has been seeing snow throughout this week, and in the coming days it could finally be Leeds's turn.

North Yorkshire in particular has been hit by heavy snow this morning, Saturday, December 17. In some places, it's blocked roads and made travel difficult.

Leeds hasn't seen any yet this winter, but tomorrow, Sunday, December 18, could change all that. The Met Office has forecast that Leeds could see some snow in the morning and the afternoon tomorrow - accompanied by a big warning for ice.

Netweather's UK snow risk map predict exactly when snow is most likely over the next few days. It forecasts snow risk at three-hourly intervals.

Netweather predicts risk of snow across Leeds and other parts of Yorkshire around midday on Sunday. That starts to peter off throughout the afternoon, as the Met Office predicts the snow changing to rain.

Over the next few days, Netweather predicts Monday and Tuesday to be mostly snow free in Leeds. This will likely continue throughout Wednesday, though there is some risk of snow to the north that may touch Yorkshire.

Snow risk is increasing and moving south throughout Christmas Eve, and Netweather predicts it could hit Leeds late in the afternoon on Saturday, December 24. In fact, most of the north could be at risk of snow by late on Christmas Eve.
