UK shipping company hit with fine for leak

United Kingdom EPA Adelaide

SA's environment agency has fined a UK ship over a leak of jet fuel at Adelaide's Largs Bay. (AAP)

UK shipping giant BP Shipping Ltd has agreed to pay a $48,000 fine over a jet fuel leak at Largs Bay in Adelaide.

The company will also pay about $28,000 in legal and technical expenses over the incident in February 2020.
