A no-nonsense teacher who has been dubbed 'Britain's strictest headmaster' says children are "habitually rude and aggressive" - and are driving teachers out of the profession "in droves".
Barry Smith has been accused of imposing strict rules such as mandatory morning smiles and compulsory eye contact with school staff.
The 54-year-old, who now works as a freelance teacher trainer and consultant, has always defended his strict approach by saying teachers are being bullied out of their profession by pupils.
