A brand new Get Baked will be opening its doors in Leeds this summer.
Rich Myers, known as the UK's rudest baker for his sarcastic remarks on social media and tag line of "tuck in,or f*** off", is opening his second bakery in Crown Street, The Calls. It will be just below the premises of strip club Whiskey Down.
The venue is expected to open in July and offer "proper fluffy as f*** pancakes", French toast, poached eggs, brownies, cookies, and the infamous 'Bruce' chocolate cake inspired by film and book Matilda. Announcing the news on social media, Rich said: "Imagine if we had an eat-in spot in Leeds city centre that served all of our classic menu items, alongside a brand new breakfast and lunch offering - GB style. I'm taking proper fluffy-as-f*** pancakes. I'm talking proper fluffy-as-f*** French toast."

The businessman added: "I'm talking eggs that have been so well poached, you'll think you have died, and gone to hell. It's a dream. Soon that dream will become a reality. Tell everyone." Gogglebox star from Leeds Ellie Warne shared her excitement, and said: "Amazing location. Congrats."
Sharing pictures of the new venue on Instagram, Rich photoshopped writing over the current business sign with, 'this will say Get Baked'. It will be the second Get Baked venue; the first one opened in Headingley in 2011. Owner Rich cultivated a legion of fans before being at the centre of 'Sprinklegate' in 2021 - where Trading Standards shut down the use of US-imported sprinkles, as they contained the red food colouring E127 which is banned in the UK.
Rich, who founded the bakery in 2011, has certainly not taken this lying down; he’s since created his own sprinkle line and written a cookbook. Rich told MyLondon: "When we first started, my dad had just passed away. We were both very interested in food and he never really lived long enough to see me be like a proper man. So I was desperate to sort of do that while he was alive.
"But it wasn't until he died that I came into starting Get Baked. People don't believe this, but this is true. We were the world's first dessert delivery brand. So you know how now you can kind of get dessert delivered on Just Eat and stuff. When we started that didn't exist. We were actually approached by Just Eat to be the first company on the platform, and we actually turned them down."
