The UK places serving the best fish and chips have been revealed. Twenty towns and villages across the nation are included on the list which celebrates the classic British feast.
Travel booking website Omio used Tripadvisor data to compile the league table. Locations were ranked based on the number of fish and chip shops, the average rating and the average number of reviews.
The research was conducted to mark National Fish and Chip Day, which takes place on June 2. The little village of Plockton in Scotland has beaten St Ives in Cornwall to be crowned the location with the best fish and chips.
