(Picture: PA Wire)Economists warned on Tuesday the UK will be the only major global economy to slide into recession this year as it battles a triple whammy of higher taxes, interest rates and energy bills.
In its latest World Economic Outlook report, the International Monetary Fund said the UK’s GDP would fall to -0.6 (MINUS) per cent in 2023, a near whole point downgrade on its last estimate in October.
