From the beginning of next month, drivers across the UK will see the arrival of the new '23' plates.
The previous update saw the introduction of '72', arriving in September of last year, with the new plates launching in just a week;s time. The 73’ plate which will then arrive on September 1, 2023 as there are two updates to plates annually.
You can identify the latest plates by looking at the third and fourth characters with the ones in March having 2 as the third character and 3 as the fourth, denoting the year 2023.
