UK to send warship to Cyprus after bases hit by drone as Trump tells Iran 'it's too late to talk'

The UK will send a warship to protect British military personnel in Cyprus, as the Middle East conflict between the US and Iran continues to escalate.

Sir Keir Starmer confirmed the UK would be sending HMS Dragon, one of the Royal Navy’s six Type 45 air defence destroyers, after RAF Akrotiri on Cyprus was hit by a drone.
