A travel warning has been issued as the UK Foreign Office has updated its travel advice.
The aim of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office travel advice is to inform British nationals so they can make decisions about travelling abroad.
It shares advice on coronavirus, terrorism, safety and security, local laws and customs, entry requirements, health, natural disasters and money, reports the Liverpool Echo.

In 2022, British nationals made over 3.330 million visits to Turkey, mostly the visits without any trouble.
However, the FCDO issued advice for any Britons travelling to the Eastern provinces of Turkey.
They advise against all but essential travel to the province of Hakkari. If you’re undertaking essential travel to this province, you should take extreme care.
Mount Ararat, in Ağrı province, is a special military zone, and access permission must be obtained from the Doğubayazıt Government Office, along with payment of a fee in the local Governor’s Office. If you are visiting with a travel agent/tour group, you should confirm with them whether you would require an individual permit.
The FCDO asks people to take extra care if you’re travelling to this area; keep up to date with local media and follow the advice of the local authorities.
