A Scottish street has placed highly in a cool street ranking which surveyed thousands of people across the world.
Great Western Road in Glasgow came third in Time Out's list of the trendiest lanes, snickets and roads in the whole world.
The tree-lined boulevard runs for nearly 18 miles from the edge of the Trossachs right into the city centre, but really comes into its own between St George’s Cross and the Botanic Gardens.
Those surveyed by Time Out praised it for its incredible night life, cheap pizzas, plentiful delicious beer and vintage shops.
The street boasts an array of food including the Michelin Star decorated Cail Bruich (£125) and the city's best chips and cheese portion from Philadelphia for £4.
Topping the list - which was produced by surveying more than 2,000 people - was Rue Wellington in Montreal.
"When a street is bookended by one of the best bars and one of the best new restaurants in the city, there’s no questioning its cool factor – especially when the city in question is one of the world’s gastronomic capitals," Time Out writes.
"Throw in killer cocktail bars, stellar brunch spots, some of the best sandwiches in town and even a sandy urban beach, and you’ve got Verdun’s Wellington Street."
In second place is Gertrude Street in Melbourne, which was described as "beautiful, unassuming and devoid of the rampant nightlife of its comparatively rowdy siblings".
The street was recognised for its independent shops, bars and restaurants, as well as a "peaceful" atmosphere.
The highest rated English street on the list was Deptford High Street in south London, which has an array of pubs, Chinese supermarkets and trendy looking Goldsmith art college students.
The area is frequented by cool people, many of whom have eschewed the gentrified Shoreditch and Hackney in favour of a slice of "authentic" London - even if that too is quickly disappearing.
The only other UK entrant on the list of 33 streets is Cutting Room Square in Manchester, which sits in Ancoats and boasts five copper statues, St Peter's Church and a converted warehouse.
"Cutting Room Square’s seamless mix of culture, exquisite dining and rich sense of history makes it the coolest street in the UK’s coolest city (there, we’ve said it)", Time Out writes.
