Since its inception in 2005, UK Black Pride has become Europe’s largest celebration of African, Asian, Middle Eastern, Latin American, and Caribbean heritage LGBTQI+ people.
The event describes itself as a safe space to celebrate these diverse identities and cultures. Each year, London sees what has become the world's largest celebration for LGBTQ+ Black and people of colour. The event comes just over a month after the capital saw thousands take to the streets for the annual London Pride event.
Nearly 20 years after its first event, UK Black Pride continues to inspire and empower the community, promoting inclusivity and equality for all.
This year, the event will take place for the 19th time, bringing thousands of Queer people of colour and their allies together in the capital.
