UK airport plans later flights as part of £200m upgrade

Belfast City Airport has proposed a £200m infrastructure update under its Master Plan 2040.
The proposal seeks to extend scheduled operating hours by an hour until 10.30pm.
Plans include upgraded passenger facilities, additional parking , a potential hotel , and a direct rail link.
The expansion aims to accommodate seven million annual passengers and support 23,000 jobs.
Chief executive Matthew Hall confirmed the proposals do not include extending the existing runway.
