The Georgia Bulldogs softball team has high preseason expectations. Georgia softball is the No. 6 team in the country in the USA TODAY/NFCA preseason softball poll. The Dawgs are picked to finish second in the SEC behind Tennessee.
Georgia finished last season as the No. 14 team in the country. The Bulldogs finished with a 42-15 record under head coach Tony Baldwin. Georgia lost in the Super Regional round of the NCAA Tournament to Florida State last year.
This season, Georgia has three preseason All-Americans in Sara Mosley, Jayda Kearny, and Shelby Walters. Georgia opens the season on Feb. 9 at 3:30 p.m. ET against Murray State.
Georgia softball has several games that will be televised on ESPN2 in 2024. The Bulldogs have top games against Tennessee, Florida, and Florida State.

Georgia softball begins SEC play on March 15. The Bulldogs will hope to return to the NCAA Tournament, which is scheduled to start on May 17.
