UFC star Anthony Smith claims internet celebrity Dan Bilzerian and fellow UFC veteran Donald Cerrone booted his family out of their seats whilst they were in attendance for his title fight against Jon Jones.
Smith earned his first UFC title shot three years ago after bagging three consecutive knockout wins in the division. Unfortunately for 'Lionheart', he lost a decision on the night against the former pound-for-pound No.1 Jones.
But it was an incident that took place outside of the cage which left Smith irate after the event. He claims that a "s***house drunk" duo of Bilzerian and Cerrone took his mum and wife's cageside seats whilst he was fighting 'Bones'.
“My mom, my wife, my manager’s mom, and two other people in my group are sitting front row. I’m in the octagon and Jon Jones is making his way to the octagon," Smith said on the Believe You Me podcast.

“Whilst this is happening, Dan Bilzerian and Donald Cerrone removed my mum and my wife from their seats. I was f*****g furious. If I had seen Dan Bilzerian, because I had found out about it right after I got to the back, I would have torn his head off.
“They want to sit down and watch the fight, but they’re f*****g hammered, like just s***house drunk. So, they tell [Smith's mum and wife] that those are their seats. My mum doesn’t know Dan Bilzerian or Donald Cerrone."
Smith said his mum knows of Cerrone because of his UFC career, but doesn't have any sort of relationship with him. The light heavyweight fighter was more annoyed at Bilzerian and claimed he was watching pornography on his phone whilst the fight was taking place.
"My wife knows of Donald but she doesn’t know him. She doesn’t know who this short, tight shirt, funky a** hat-wearing jerk is [Bilzerian]. She just knows that these are her seats and she’s about to watch her son fight for a world title," Smith continued.
"Dan ends up being next to my mom, and then during the fight, he's watching porn on his phone. Like, during the fight, he’s sitting there watching porn. My mom’s super uncomfortable, she’s weirded out. She’s a quiet lady, real shy. It was just a whole f*****g ordeal.”
Smith struggled to find his form in the octagon after his loss to Jones, dropping fights to Alexander Rakic and now-champion Glover Teixeira in 2020. The 33-year-old has since progressed his way back up the ladder at 205-pounds, winning three consecutive fights to set up a clash with Magomed Ankalaev at UFC 277 on July.
