UFC star Paddy Pimblett sends address to troll after being called out for fight

Paddy Pimblett took issue with a troll who made a violent threat towards him, offering the address of his gym for the pair to settle their differences.

The Liverpool native is set to face Jordan Leavitt on Saturday night at The O2 arena in London, and has been actively engaging with his followers on social media throughout the last few weeks to further build anticipation. But when one user took it too far by threatening the UFC star, Pimblett offered a location for the pair to get physical.

Within hours, not only had the threat been taken down, but the Twitter user had deleted their page entirely. Pimblett's initial response was liked over 300 times by fans who slammed the 'keyboard' warrior for his threats against a trained elite MMA fighter.

After the violent tweet was sent, Pimblett responded by quoting the message and offering that he come down to his gym. "Come down the gym then mate?" The fighter said. "78 Kempston Street, Next Generation you're more than welcome to try it."

Fans laughed at Pimblett's offer, and mocked the Twitter user, who has since deleted their social media presence. "Paddy he couldn't kick start his BMX," one wrote, while another joked that he was "never seen again".

The Liverpool native will be fighting in a sanctioned bout this weekend against Leavitt, who is a noted step up in competition from his previous two bouts in the octagon. A former Cage Warriors champion; Pimblett made a splash when he made his highly-anticipated debut last year against Luigi Vendramini.

After struggling early with the Italian, he landed a first round knockout to announce himself to American fans after building a following in the UK during his Cage Warriors days. And back in March he returned to London to face Rodrigo Vargas, who he stopped again in the first round.

“You can expect the same as always from me," Pimblett told the UFC Europe social media channels ahead of the fight. "The most entertaining fight on the card, I come to fight, I put on a show for everyone and everyone knows that. Whether I’m on the mic, whether we’re fighting, whether it’s the entrance, people are coming to this show to watch me, to watch yours truly."

Pimblett is not a fan of Leavitt's who has doubled his following on social media after a series of comical interviews surrounding the fight. The American has vowed to twerk on Pimblett after stopping him, which has irked the Scouse fighter.

“I’ve never minded Jordan Leavitt until like four weeks ago when he started chatting all s***," Pimblett continued. "He had about 12,000 followers until his fight with me got announced. Now he’s got 30. I’m giving him fans. Chatting all this twerking and all that bulls***. You’re not going to have a chance to twerk lad because I’m going to put you fast in two minutes and then t***** you like we’re in Modern Warfare 2. Watch.”
