UFC star Paddy Pimblett makes violent threat to Logan Paul with fight prediction

Paddy Pimblett has vowed to snap Logan Paul's leg and knock him out in a potential UFC fight.

Paul began plans to make an appearance in the octagon following positive talks with UFC president Dana White during an appearance on his podcast. The YouTube star identified Pimblett as the potential opponent, challenging the star to a fight despite having no prior experience in the cage.

He doubled down on his fight call-out last week vowing to "take out" the UFC star. However Pimblett has claimed Paul has chosen him because he is the new face of the promotion. “I’ve told you all, he knows who the boy is, he knows who the face of the UFC is now and it’s me,” Pimblett told Seconds Out.

“I’d f****** snap his leg for him or knock him clean out. I don’t care what weight he wants to fight at. I’d fight him at 185. I’d probably get him down to 175 or something and I’d fight him at that but I’d fight him at 185lb."

Pimblett has made a hugely successful start to his career in the UFC with two consecutive victories. His profile continues to expand largely due to his brash comments and hugely entertaining interviews. Similarly Paul is becoming increasingly more influential in combat sports.

The YouTube star had his first professional fight against KSI in which he lost, before sharing the ring in a lucrative exhibition bout with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather. Paul later made an appearance in WWE's hallmark Wrestlemania 38 event and is understood to be keen on any opportunities that arise in other spheres.

A significant size difference would be a stumbling block in any fight with Pimblett normally competing at 155lb. Paul most recently tipped the scales at 189.5lb against Mayweather which is over the middleweight limit in MMA. UFC bantamweight Sean O'Malley believes Pimblett's poor diet is to blame for both men calling for a UFC showdown. "I think it makes sense," O'Malley told The Schmo. "I don't think these guys pay too much attention [to the weight classes].

"He probably looks at him and Paddy's fat as s***, Logan's like 'he's 200 pounds' and thinks, 'yeah, I'm around that weight.' Paddy's a massive prospect right now blowing up so it makes sense for Logan to call out someone with a name like that. It's Logan f***ing Paul he's not going to call out some random guy that no-one knows, he's going to call out the top dogs, that's what they do."

Pimblett will first continue his pursuit of becoming the UFC's biggest star when he takes on Jordan Leavitt in his latest octagon outing. A win could see him begin to look towards challenging a top fifteen contender, which could now be on the table after leaving behind his previous £9,000-a-fight contract.
