UFC star Sean O'Malley has questioned whether Conor McGregor has the dedication to make a comeback after his leg break.
McGregor, 34, hasn't fought since suffering the major injury against Dustin Poirier in their trilogy fight last July. The Irishman plans to make his UFC return after filming for his Hollywood debut in a remake of Road House, as he is set to fly to the Dominican Republic in the coming weeks for his role in the showpiece.
By the time McGregor makes his UFC return, three years would have passed since his last win. The former two-weight champion remains the biggest star in the sport despite his inactivity, but O'Malley thinks the amount of money McGregor is making outside of the Octagon could cast doubt on his fighting future.

"The amount of money I have will run out. The amount of money Conor has, he's good for probably the rest of his life," O'Malley said on the TimboSugarShow. "I can't imagine him waking up in training camp with five weeks to grind hard kill it. When you have money like he does, you don't give a f***."
"There's no chance I could be travelling in camp. [Conor's] always on the yacht, going somewhere, doing something. I can't imagine him just grinding for 12 weeks, but I don't know, I wouldn't be surprised too. If anyone is going to do it, Conor is going to comeback and win. He did look sharp against Poirier at the beginning of that fight."
In the hopes of becoming the UFC's first three-weight champion, McGregor had been calling for a fight against Kamaru Usman upon his return, but that fight is likely off the table after the 'Nigerian Nightmare' lost his welterweight title against Leon Edwards last month. McGregor's uncertain timeline makes it hard to draft a potential opponent for his return as the lightweight and welterweight divisions continue to move on without him.
O'Malley also addressed a potential trilogy fight between McGregor and Nate Diaz in boxing after Diaz became a free agent following UFC 279 last weekend. "What if Nate vs Conor happened in boxing? That would be pretty sweet and the thing about boxing is, what if it was 12 rounds? The bigger Conor gets, the less cardio he's going to have as well," O'Malley added.
"Conor gassed against Floyd [Mayweather] and sometimes with boxing gloves, you can really [punch]. When I wear those boxing gloves, I feel like I could knock anyone out.
