The UFC handed out four post-fight bonuses after Saturday’s card, including another one to the youngest fighter on the roster.
After UFC on ESPN 57, four fighters picked up an extra $50,000 for their performances in Louisville, Ky. Check out the winners below.
Performance of the Night: Carlos Prates
Carlos Prates def. Charlie Radtke via knockout (body shot) – Round 1, 4:47
After six straight decisions to open the card, the fans in Louisville must have been starting to think maybe the UFC should have just stayed away another 13 years. But then Carlos Prates (19-6 MMA, 2-0 UFC) drilled Charlie Radtke (9-4 MMA, 2-1 UFC) with a knee to the liver along the fence late in the first round. Radtke hit the canvas immediately, and despite the bad blood from their faceoff the day before, Prates chose the walkoff instead of extra punishment.

Performance of the Night: Zach Reese
Zach Reese def. Julian Marquez via TKO (strikes) – Round 1, 0:20
It took Zach Reese (7-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) just 20 seconds to take out Julian Marquez (9-5 MMA, 3-5 UFC) in their fight on the main card. Reese landed to the body to back Marquez up quickly, then drilled him with an uppercut and pounced for one of the fastest finishes in UFC middleweight history.

Performance of the Night: Brunno Ferreira
Brunno Ferreira def. Dustin Stoltzfus via TKO (spinning back elbow) – Round 1, 4:51
Brunno Ferreira (12-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) has not been accustomed to going out of the first round much in his career, so with the clock ticking down after a wild exchange with Dustin Stoltzfus (15-6 MMA, 2-5 UFC), he threw one more spinning back elbow after he landed one moments earlier – and it was on the button. It put Stoltzfus away with nine seconds left in the opening frame and was just the eighth spinning back elbow finish in UFC history.

Performance of the Night: Raul Rosas Jr.
Raul Rosas Jr. def. Ricky Turcios via submission (rear-naked choke) – Round 2, 2:22
Raul Rosas Jr. (9-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) is just 19, but he continued to live up to the hype with a second-round submission of Ricky Turcios (12-4 MMA, 2-2 UFC). The youngest fighter on the UFC’s roster has finishes in eight of his nine wins, including six submissions. In a fun fight, Rosas eventually got Turcios to the canvas in the second round, and though Turcios put up a lengthy fight against it, Rosas finally got under the chin for the rear-naked choke finish. He has bonuses in all three of his UFC wins.
