Robert Whittaker isn’t going anywhere.
In his most recent bout, the former UFC middleweight champion proved to still be a world-class talent and a threat to the title, despite being 0-2 against middleweight champion Israel Adesanya. Whittaker (25-6 MMA, 15-4 UFC) put on a vintage performance, defeating long-time contender Marvin Vettori in a unanimous decision back at UFC Fight Night 209 in September 2022 in Paris.

Whittaker returns to action this Saturday on the pay-per-view main card of UFC 290. He takes on Dricus Du Plessis (19-2 MMA, 5-0 UFC) in a title eliminator bout.
UFC 290 takes place Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ABC/ESPN and early prelims on ESPN+.
