UFC Fight Night 239 bonuses: With seven finishes, who missed out on an extra $50K in Las Vegas?

After UFC Fight Night 239, four fighters picked up an extra $50,000 for their performances in Las Vegas. Check out the winners below.

Performance of the Night: Jaqueline Amorim

Jaqueline Amorim def. Cory McKenna via submission (armbar) – Round 1, 1:38

Jaqueline Amorim (8-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) thought she beat Cory McKenna (8-3 MMA, 3-2 UFC) once with a triangle armbar. Referee Mike Beltran told her to stop from an apparent tap, but then let the fight keep going when the tap wasn’t convincing enough, and neither fighter really stopped. It forced Amorim to adjust, but a few seconds later she forced the armbar tap for the fourth fastest finish in UFC women’s strawweight history.

Performance of the Night: Jafel Filho

After a loss to the tough Muhammad Mokaev in a tough first UFC assignment, Jafel Filho (16-3 MMA, 2-1 UFC) now has back-to-back first-round submission wins after he tapped Ode Osbourne (12-7 MMA, 4-5 UFC) with a rear-naked choke on the prelims.

Performance of the Night: Macy Chiasson

Macy Chiasson (10-3 MMA, 7-3 UFC) got a little taste of history repeating itself when she submitted Pannie Kianzad (17-8 MMA, 5-5 UFC) with a first-round rear-naked choke on the main card. In late 2018, Chiasson tapped Kianzad with an RNC to win Season 28 of “The Ultimate Fighter.”

Performance of the Night: Marcin Tybura

Marcin Tybura def. Tai Tuivasa via submission (rear-naked choke) – Round 1, 4:08

Marcin Tybura (25-8 MMA, 12-7 UFC) got cracked with an early elbow from Tai Tuivasa (15-7 MMA, 8-7 UFC) in the heavyweight main event, but he worked through it, and though he was a bloody mess, he got the fight to the canvas and cranked on a rear-naked choke to end the fight in the first round.
