MEXICO CITY – MMA Junkie was on scene and reporting live from Friday’s official UFC Fight Night 237 fighter weigh-ins.
The early weigh-ins took place at the UFC host hotel in Mexico City, and precede the ceremonial weigh-ins for the fans, which take place at 6 p.m. ET at Mexico City Arena. The same venue hosts Saturday’s event (ESPN+).
Among those weighing in were former flyweight champion Brandon Moreno (21-7-2 MMA, 9-4-2 UFC) and recent title challenger Brandon Royval (15-7 MMA, 5-3 UFC), who meet in the main event, and featherweight contenders Brian Ortega (15-3 MMA, 7-3 UFC) and Yair Rodriguez (18-4 MMA, 10-3 UFC), who fight in the co-feature.
