LAS VEGAS – The main event for the penultimate UFC card of 2023 is official after Song Yadong and Chris Gutierrez made weight for UFC Fight Night 233.
Yadong (20-7-1 MMA, 9-2-1 UFC) and Gutierrez (20-5-2 MMA, 8-2-1 UFC) both hit the bantamweight mark at Friday’s official weigh-in, which took place at the UFC Apex – the same venue that hosts Saturday’s card on ESPN+.
China’s Yadong registered at 136 pounds when he stepped on the scale early in the two-hour window, while first-time headliner Gutierrez came in nearly an hour later, and was 136 pounds – with the help of the curtain.
