PARIS – The heavyweight headliners of Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 226 got one final pre-fight look at one another Friday in the venue that hosts the fights.
At ceremonial weigh-ins at Accor Arena, former interim UFC heavyweight champion Ciryl Gane went face-to-face with fellow behemoth Serghei Spivac. The two shared a respectful faceoff that was all business and concluded with a handshake.
France’s Gane (11-2 MMA, 8-2 UFC) will have another home game as he looks to remain unbeaten on home turf while also bouncing back from a quick submission loss to Jon Jones at UFC 285 in March.
