Waldo Cortes-Acosta’s first finish inside the octagon was nothing short of spectacular, and it came at the expense of Lukasz Brzeski at UFC Fight Night 225.
After earning his first three octagon victories by decision, Cortes-Acosta (10-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) put the heat on Brzeski (8-4-1 MMA, 0-3 UFC) on the feet with a savage flurry of strikes that resulted in a knockout victory at the 3:01 mark of Round 1 in the heavyweight bout at Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore.

“I worked so hard for this,” Cortes-Acosta said through an interpreter in his post-fight interview with Michael Bisping. “I had one of the best camps. I just want to thank my team for their help. I felt the best I ever felt in this fight.”
