UFC 326 live: Charles Oliveira dethrones ‘BMF’ champion Max Holloway in legacy-defining performance

Charles Oliveira defeated Max Holloway in the main event of UFC 326 on Saturday, dominating his old foe on the scorecards to win the “Baddest Motherf*****” title.

The Brazilian earned scores of 50-45 across all three judges to overcome the Hawaiian, 11 years after an injury cost Oliveira in their first clash.

The pair’s rematch took place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, where Holloway was hardly able to get a look-in as “Do Bronxs” took full advantage of his superiority of the ground.

Oliveira ground out an emphatic win but not before sticking to his word of throwing down with Holloway in the centre of the octagon for the final seconds as their bout went the distance.

Cody Garbrandt vomits in octagon after suffering two low blows - but still wins at UFC 326

07:20 , Will Castle

Cody Garbrandt was left throwing up into a bucket after suffering three low blows in quick succession - but still went on to eke out the win in a bizarre fight at UFC 326.

Former bantamweight champion Garbrandt was up against Chinese fighter Xiao Long, hoping to get back in the win column after two successive losses to Deiveson Figueiredo and Raoni Barcelos.

”No Love” put in an encouraging performance in the first two rounds, dropping Xiao with a fierce elbow up against the fence, but his outing threatened to be derailed when Xiao connected with the groin not once but twice in the third and final round.

The second shot, a toe kick to the privates, left Garbrandt lying in agony and the American was soon seen throwing up, initially directly onto the canvas before someone came into the octagon to give him a bucket.

What next for Charles Oliveira?

05:45 , Will Castle

That was another legacy defining performance from Charles Oliveira. Annihilating Max Holloway, another icon of this sport, in such an emphatic way can only be appreciated.

There’s no doubt that he’ll be vying for another lightweight title shot, hoping for revenge against Ilia Topuria - the man who slept him to claim the vacant belt last year.

But after tonight’s announcement, we now know that “El Matador” already has a fight booked, headlining the White House card against Justin Gaethje.

Is Oliveira next in line? You’d have to think so after that performance.

Max Holloway is gracious in defeat as he says “he wouldn’t have it any other way” than Charles Oliveira being the BMF.

However, Holloway allays any fears that this is it for him and says “I’m not done yet” as he pledges to return to title contention.

Charles Oliveira immediately grabbed his interpreter after the result was made official, making sure to give Max Holloway his flowers even before the UFC could get a microphone over to him.

“My biggest pride is to represent my family just like you.

Round five

Holloway needs something big in these first 10 seconds. He throws hard but it’s Oliveira that lands on the button! That sparks a takedown attempt from the Brazilian - get this and the fight could be over.

Yet there’s hope for Holloway, who manages to defend enough to get on top! He needs to disengage now - he can’t play Oliveira’s game. But he’s stuck to “Do Bronxs” like glue, and as he finally gets back to his feet, Oliveira drags him back down again.

Now with top control, Oliveira can just see this one out. He did, however, say he would throw down a la Holloway-Gaethje if this fight reached the final 10 seconds of the fifth and final round.

AND HE KEEPS HIS WORD! The two get to their feet, point to the ground and RAIN IN on each other!

Oliveira is cracked with a right but his chin is strong enough to stay on his feet until the buzzer, as the pair embrace.

Two bona fide icons of this sport. But it’s Oliveira’s night. Sheer domination.

Round four

That’s more like it, Max! Holloway lands a couple of stiff straights to get the fourth going as he looks to flip the momentum in this game.

But the champ just isn’t reacting fast enough to these Oliveira takedown attempts and after struggling, the fight returns to the mat.

Some of the crowd are booing but you can’t fault Oliveira - this is his Plan A and he’s executing it to perfection.

Here come the elbows again. Nasty, nasty shots and Holloway is scrambling to evade them. Now Oliveira is hammering Holloway’s thigh with his heel.

Holloway has been able to defend like hell for 20 minutes. But this is 4-0 Oliveira. A Hail Mary fifth round needed to keep his belt.

Round three

It’s easy to say Holloway needs to keep this on the feet, but let’s not forget Oliveira is a terrifying striker. Even still, he needs to make these early seconds count.

He connects with a sharp right but Oliveira is also throwing nicely, before the Brazilian again shoots for the takedown - he knows it’s the ground where he’ll dominate.

Holloway gets back to his feet at the first attempt but Oliveira is just relentless - it feels like an inevitability as the fight is dragged to the mat, and it doesn’t take long for Oliveira to gain full mount.

The ground is where the fight stays for the rest of the round. Oliveira transitions to half guard, looking for a D’Arce while unleashing the occasional heavy elbow.

Holloway gets to the end but this has been nothing short of dominance for 15 minutes. Into the championship rounds we go.

Round two

Holloway needs to hit Oliveira and move, and things look more encouraging as he clips him with a sharp three-piece combo 20 seconds into round two.

But this is Oliveira we’re talking about - and with one slight opening, he just drags Holloway to the mat like a crocodile drowning his prey.

Oliveira is just so strong, and once again Holloway finds himself needing to defend a rear-naked for his life, trapped in a body triangle.

Holloway is in real trouble. Oliveira is raining in SLICING elbows from behind. He’s just trying to tenderise him for the submission.

It’s all about survival for the champ - he stands no chance of victory in a straight grappling match with Oliveira. And for a second round, he does survive.

UFC 326 live: Max Holloway vs Charles Oliveira

04:50 , Will Castle

Round one

Two huge leg kicks by Oliveira to get this one started. Holloway responds with a nice combo - and ALREADY these guys are throwing down!

Oliveira turns up the intensity as aggressor with both men trading strikes before “Do Bronxs” lands a perfect early takedown. This is a really dangerous position for Holloway.

Oliveira transitions from side mount and gets the back, and that’s the LAST thing you want to give the Brazilian. He goes for the rear-naked as Holloway stands up but the Hawaiian just about manages to evade the submission.

Oliveira still has control of the back with both men sitting up against the fence. Here comes a neck crank... Holloway fights HARD to escape!

A wry smile comes from Holloway as the clock ticks into its final 20 seconds, knowing he’ll survive this round. It was complete domination, but it isn’t over for the champ.

Preview: The $15m distraction hanging over UFC 326’s blockbuster main event

04:34 , Will Castle

With two of the UFC’s longest-serving fan favourites set to throw down, Will Castle previews UFC 326 in the context of Dana White’s eye-watering acquisition of Conor Benn, which highlights once again how the company’s top fighters are undervalued:

Dana White made it abundantly clear what he thought of his UFC servants, and mixed martial arts in its entirety, when he stuffed a reported $15m into the pocket of Conor Benn. Obsessed with his Zuffa Boxing venture and the civil war that is breaking out on the other side of the combat world, the UFC suddenly feels like a secondary project to its own president.

Benn, a big name in boxing but not yet at that elite level of worldwide marketability, is allegedly being paid this eye-watering fee - a number which White neither confirmed nor denied when probed in an interview with Piers Morgan - for one co-main event bout against Regis Prograis, a former two-time super-lightweight champion who is long past his prime and is fighting outside of his natural weight category. These contract terms do not exist in the UFC, even for its biggest, best and most beloved stars.

Fighter pay has always been a pressing issue, as was notoriously harnessed by Jake Paul as ammunition against White, but the UFC head honcho’s undervaluing of his own employees has arguably never felt this pertinent. It’s led to said top stars speaking out to an extent that some haven’t dared to before.

UFC 326 live: The rematch fans NEED!

04:33 , Will Castle

When Charles Oliveira and Max Holloway first clashed in 2015, the latter was early in his UFC career, while Oliveira had already been in the promotion for five years – yet the best was ahead for both. Holloway went on to reign as featherweight champion from 2017 until 2019, before Oliveira won the lightweight title in 2021.

Nevertheless, fans will be hoping for a more-definitive outcome than in their first bout. That night, Oliveira suffered a neck or throat injury in the first round; his team still aren’t sure, even to this day.

It’s taken 11 years, but these two now have another chance to do their match justice. DON’T GO ANYWHERE!

Caio Borralho has just called out the former UFC middleweight champion!

The Brazilian is on the title path...

UFC 326 live: Reinier de Ridder vs Caio Borralho

04:24 , Will Castle

Round three

The third round begins like the first two: with a big Borralho connection. De Ridder eats it again but then fluffs a level change, slipping and hitting the deck.

Now it’s Borralho’s turn to shoot. He secures a nice takedown and has half mount, trying to work an arm triangle.

De Ridder evades the submission attempt and is working very hard to get out of this position, knowing that Borralho is in a good position to rain in ground strikes. He eventually succeeds and the fight returns to the feet - and suddenly, momentum flips.

De Ridder lands a stiff jab and is now chasing Borralho. It feels like anyone’s fight going into the final minute.

The Brazilian responds with a good right before landing a body kick. There will be no finish in this one, and we go to the judges...

Round two

Borralho’s right hand is DANGEROUS. He lets his hands go straight away and once again RDR is required to weather the storm.

He does that by again making the fight ugly, to the frustration of the Vegas crowd. He’s got Borralho up against the fence and it takes a good couple of minutes for the pair to separate.

Back in the centre of the cage, De Ridder shows his own threat on the feet by landing a nice combination. Borralho responds with a sharp leg kick, but the Brazilian was not able to throw much in that round, barring the first 20 seconds. RDR did really well to quell him.

UFC 326 live: Reinier de Ridder vs Caio Borralho

04:09 , Will Castle

Round one

Borralho comes out of the blocks with a spinning body kick and is very much starts on the front foot.

The Brazilian clips De Ridder, inducing a slip out of him and leading him to fall to the mat - it isn’t a knockdown, but it’s a sign of a man getting in the flow.

That flow is then disrupted by a low blow from De Ridder as both men trade knees to the crotch.

Back underway, De Ridder looks to catch Borralho with his hands down but the Brazilian responds by just CRACKING shots off De Ridder over and over again. These are hurting the Dutchman.

It provokes De Ridder to shoot for a takedown, wrapping his arms around Borralho’s waist up against the fence. It’s a tad ugly but De Ridder works it well and registers that all-important takedown as the round comes to a close.

It’s co-main event time!

Reinier de Ridder takes on Caio Borralho in a clash of middleweight contenders, both of whom are looking to bounce back from gutting defeats last time out.

De Ridder was stunningly knocked out by Brendan Allen in October, while Borralho succumbed to defeat at the hands of French star Nassourdine Imavov.

Both results proved a rare stumbling block for two fighters that were rising up the ranks at 185lbs.

Who will get back on track and whose woes will snowball? We’ll find out next...

UFC 326 live: Closing in on our BMF title bout!

03:56 , Will Castle

Just one more bout until our the main event tonight, which will see Max Holloway and Charles Oliveira meet in a tantalising rematch 11 years in the making.

Holloway went on to reign as featherweight champion from 2017 until 2019, before Oliveira won the lightweight title in 2021.

And while neither currently holds a world title, they remain fan favourites due to their all-action styles – a style that saw “Blessed” claim the “Baddest Motherf*****” belt in 2024. Holloway, 34, defends that title against Oliveira, 36, here, with fans hoping for a more-definitive outcome than in their first bout. That night, Oliveira suffered a neck or throat injury; his team still aren’t sure, even to this day.

Holloway and Oliveira are ultimately both pursuing a rematch with lightweight champion Ilia Topuria, who knocked out the Hawaiian in 2024 and the Brazilian in 2025.

Round three

Font needs a finish here but his striking just isn’t clean enough. He’s landed just seven significant strikes in 11 minutes.

It’s total domination from here on in. To the scorecards we go...

Round two

This one quickly returns to the mat. Font might prefer to keep this on the feet, but that’s not to say he’s not capable on the ground!

He does really well to snatch Rosas Jr’s back and get himself in a good position, though the advantage doesn’t last particularly long as Rosas Jr slips out and regains top control.

Font is going for a guillotine from the bottom but can’t get his leg around. It’s all about control time for the Mexican.

Rosas Jr is the superior grappler, relentlessly bringing Font back down every time he comes close to escaping. However, he isn’t doing much damage.

A couple missed hammerfists are thrown from Rosas Jr in the final 10 seconds. A dominant round for the 21-year-old.

Holloway and Oliveira are ultimately both pursuing a rematch with lightweight champion Ilia Topuria, who knocked out the Hawaiian in 2024 and the Brazilian in 2025.

UFC 326 live: Cody Garbrandt vs Xiao Long

02:08 , Will Castle

Round three

Xiao knows he needs a finish so comes out all guns blazing. He goes for a flying knee but Garbrandt dodges before hitting him with a signature taunt.

On the other hand, Garbrandt is aware he just needs to just get to the buzzer. It leaves him literally RUNNING from Xiao for about a minute, but Xiao is eventually able to close the distance as they enter the clinch.

Xiao finishes the fight with top control but that will not be enough to flip the result. Garbrandt nevertheless has to be held back by Herb Dean after the buzzer.

Both fighters are still arguing before the decision. Security is in the cage. Anyway, here’s how the judges scored it...

Cody Garbrandt def. Xiao Long via unanimous decision (28-27, 28-27, 28-27)

Courtesy of a two-point deduction, Garbrandt is back in the win column! What a bizarre fight!

Round three

The third starts like the second ended: with a referee stoppage. This time, it’s Xiao inflicting the illegal blow as he goes low.

The fight resumes after a minute or so, and then AGAIN Xiao connects with a groin shot. This one is HEAVY - a toe kick to the privates - and leaves Garbrandt THROWING UP.

Garbrandt wipes his mouth, gives a death stare to Xiao - and after two and a half minutes, this one is getting back underway.

Xiao gets a point deducted. The crowd are going crazy for Garbrandt as we resume with fireworks!

But up against the fence, Xiao knees low AGAIN! The interpretor is brought in and Xiao loses ANOTHER point!

This is insanity! Xiao now can’t win without a finish!

UFC 326 live: Cody Garbrandt vs Xiao Long

01:55 , Will Castle

Round two

It’s a more hesitant start to the second as Garbrandt tries to wrestle with his opponent.

He goes for a big overhand but Xiao takes his leg out from under him, leaving him flying face first towards the mat. He’s back up in a flash, though.

We missed the third minute of this round as TNT Sports’ patchy broadcast cut completely... so apologies if something crazy went down then.

We resumed to see a Garbrandt level change lead to a nasty headbutt at the end of the round, but after a brief stoppage and Xiao complaint, both fighters are good to resume.

UFC 326 live: Cody Garbrandt vs Xiao Long

01:48 , Will Castle

Round one

Big chants of “Cody, Cody, Cody” inside the T-Mobile Arena as this one gets underway. He’ll always be a fan favourite.

“No Love”, however, needs to be careful and he’s caught with a headkick early into the first round. He eats it but that looked like it might’ve really hurt him.

Garbrandt doesn’t engage with as much intensity for the next minute as he regains composure, and he fires back with a HUGE elbow that sends Xiao to the mat! He’s quickly back up and puts his arms up to say “bring it”, but if nothing else that gave Garbrandt a much-needed confidence boost.

Garbrandt does nevertheless lean into another headkick, again eaten, before a lovely level change sees him stunt Xiao, albeit briefly.

One more big uppercut attempt from Garbrandt goes amiss and that’s all she wrote for an eventful first.

UFC 326 live: Cody Garbrandt vs Xiao Long

01:41 , Will Castle

It’s featured prelim time - and we’ve got a former UFC champion in action!

We’re now coming up to 10 years since Cody Garbrandt stunned Dominick Cruz in one of the greatest performances of all time to become bantamweight champion. Since that peak, things haven’t gone as smoothly as was once thought.

Dreams of a Garbrandt revival are still harboured by the optimistic MMA fan, and “No Love” faces Xiao Long tonight hoping to bounce back from successive defeats to Deiveson Figueiredo and Raoni Barcelos.

UFC 326 live: Donte Johnson vs Cody Brundage

01:36 , Will Castle

Round three

Brundage receives one hell of a pep talk from his corner between the rounds. His coaches feel he’s down in rounds and needs a massive third to pull this one out the bag. But he’s knackered.

The fight is kept on the feet for much of the final round - it doesn’t seem like Brundage has the energy to seriously threaten with the takedown.

Johnson, meanwhile, is still ticking along nicely. He’s landing nice jabs and chipping away at Brundage.

One last Hail Mary takedown from Brundage is defended by Johnson with a nice sprawl. He didn’t get the finish as the heavy, heavy favourite, but it looks like Johnson has done enough...

Donte Johnson def. Cody Brundage via split decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29)

A tight one, but Johnson gets it done and keeps his undefeated record in tact. Perhaps not as dominant as he would’ve hoped, against a man who took the fight on short notice.

UFC 326 live: Donte Johnson vs Cody Brundage

01:27 , Will Castle

Round two

Johnson has quite an odd stance - he stands with his knees locked, and his head and chest back. He’s still throwing heat, let’s not forget.

It’s clear Brundage needs to take this to the ground. His first effort is well defended with Johnson sprawling. But after snatching the leg, Brundage gets his back.

He tries locking in a kimura to no avail, giving Johnson the top. He rains down punches before getting Brundage in a headlock by the fence and punching in from the side.

There’s a brief stoppage after Brundage gets poked in the eye with the fight back on the feet. But there’s only a few seconds to go as the bout resumes, and this one is going to a third.

UFC 326 live: Donte Johnson vs Cody Brundage

01:20 , Will Castle

Round one

The fighters touch gloves but there’s no playing around from Johnson, who tries to knock out Brundage with his first punch. Brundage dodges and gets Johnson to the ground.

This is the best case scenario for Brundage, with Johnson not looking particularly comfortable in a grappling contest. Brundage, however, does not do much damage with his couple minutes of top control and when the fighters return to the feet, Johnson is out for blood.

He throws some heavy, quick punches as Brundage tries to fight the fire in the final stages of the first. “Cody better start wrestling again,” says DC on commentary.

UFC 326 live: Donte Johnson vs Cody Brundage

01:05 , Will Castle

We move to the middleweights next as the undefeated Donte Johnson takes on Cody Brundage.

Johnson is undefeated at 7-0 and won his UFC debut against Sedriques Dumas in style last November, submitting him with a guillotine choke in the second round.

He wages his zero against Brundage, who may be on a two-fight slip but is often involved in all-action matchups - rarely do his bouts go to a decision.

This is Brundage’s second fight in just 35 days after stepping in on short notice to replace Dusko Todorovic, who withdrew due to injury.

UFC 326 live: Will the White House card be announced tonight?

00:59 , Will Castle

It feels like the worst kept secret that tonight’s broadcast, or the press conference that follows it, will see Dana White FINALLY announce the card for the White House event this summer.

The likes of Jon Jones, Ilia Topuria and Alex Pereira have all be touted as potential headliners, but it doesn’t seem Conor McGregor will be on the card after claiming that the UFC got cold feet over a bout with Michael Chandler.

If any fight news comes through tonight, we’ll bring it to you right here.

UFC 326 live: Ricky Turcios vs Alberto Montes

00:53 , Will Castle

An emotional post-fight speech from Alberto Montes, who breaks down in tears as he dedicates his performance to his late coach, who took his own life.

“If you feel, you need to talk with someone who really can hear you,” he says.

UFC 326 live: Ricky Turcios vs Alberto Montes

00:48 , Will Castle

Round two

Montes comes out for the second by landing a couple sharp low kicks, Turcios goes for the level change but Montes catches him in his trademark anaconda choke. It’s cinched in and TURCIOS IS OUT LIKE A LIGHT!

Alberto Montes def. Ricky Turcios via second-round submission (D’Arce choke, 0:40)

He loves that choke! As good as a UFC debut as Montes could hope for.

UFC 326 live: Ricky Turcios vs Alberto Montes

00:45 , Will Castle

Round one

Turcios has come out of the blocks flying and is fighting with intent. He’s throwing combinations and is moving Montes around the cage, controlling the centre.

But such a chaotic style leaves him open to getting caught, and that’s exactly what happens as Montes lands a knee, a jab and a right to make Turcios rethink his attack. Suddenly, Montes is fighting clean and is in control.

Two more frontkicks to the body and Turcios has had the wind taken out of him. A round of two halves for the TUF winner.

UFC 326 live: Ricky Turcios vs Alberto Montes

Next up, TUF winner Ricky Turcios takes on Contender Series graduate Alberto Montes in a clash of featherweight prospects.

Turcios has last his last two UFC outings, the first of which came against a 19-year-old Raul Rojas Jr (who fights in tonight’s main card), so will be keen to bounce back.

UFC 326 live: Cody Durden vs Nyamjargal Tumendemberel

00:30 , Will Castle

Round three

Durden starts well against the fence but it doesn’t take long for Tumendemberel to take the back, putting him in a great position.

He misses the opportunity for a triangle, though, with Durden taking back top control. This is the American’s chance for a finish - he could lock in an arm triangle here.

But no! He lets Tumendemberel turn and after slipping off his back, the Mongolian is happy to ride out the fight with side control.

The buzzer goes after a Hail Mary leg-lock attempt from Durden, and AGAIN Tumendemberel throws at his opponent after the bell. Get his ears checked.

We go to a decision...

Nyamjargal Tumendemberel def. Cody Durden via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28)

UFC 326 live: Cody Durden vs Nyamjargal Tumendemberel

00:22 , Will Castle

Round two

Both men seem happy with this devolving into a straight grappling match as the second round begins with the fight immediately being brought to the mat.

There’s a leg lock attempt before Tumendemberel tries to sink in the guillotine. The Mongolian gets him to the fence and unleashes a few heavy strikes from the top.

Tumendemberel gets side control and doesn’t do much with it for a while, before connecting with a clear shot to the back of the head. The referee had already warned him about those, but that wouldn’t be his last sin of the round.

After a late flurry from both men, Tumendemberel connected with an overhand that was WELL after the buzzer. He’s lucky not to get penalised for that - no accident there.

UFC 326 live: Cody Durden vs Nyamjargal Tumendemberel

00:16 , Will Castle

Round one

Bad start for Durden who after throwing a couple early leg kicks is swiftly caught in a guillotine. He stays calm and eventually is able to pop his head out.

Tumendemberel wants to keep this in the clench and is trying to work him back to the ground, with any period of separation being brief.

They exchange top control before Durden shoots for the armbar - the Mongolian manages to get out.

Some hard elbows on the mat from Tumendemberel to end the round, the first time we’ve seen him show anything reflective of his nickname - which is “Art of Knockout”.

The $15m distraction hanging over UFC 326’s blockbuster main event

Saturday 7 March 2026 23:50 , Will Castle

The rebuild of Tom Aspinall and the integral role Eddie Hearn will play

Saturday 7 March 2026 23:40 , Will Castle

In the thick of a brewing “Cold War” in boxing, this wasn’t played off as if circumstances weren’t a factor.

Eddie Hearn and Tom Aspinall only met for first time face-to-face on Wednesday. On Friday, the UFC heavyweight champion was unveiled as the inaugural signing of the Matchroom Talent Agency at Battersea Power Station, emanating the sort of voltage spike into the combat world that hadn’t been seen from the once-active Control Room A for about half a century.

Conor Benn’s defection to Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing, of course, had a hand in all this coming together, not least for the timing of the announcement. “An opportunity for a lot of noise,” said Hearn, who has been trading insults with the UFC chief in the two weeks since Benn’s shock Matchroom split. “If nothing had happened with Dana White and we made the announcement, it still would’ve been big. But it’s f***ing huge.”

Charles Oliveira envisages one more title run after BMF bout

Saturday 7 March 2026 23:15 , Will Castle

Charles Oliveira can see himself going back for the lightweight title one more time, presuming he can secure BMF gold at UFC 326.

"The first fight between us, let's kill that one. He won that fight – that's it," Oliveira said, looking to put their injury-marred 2015 bout behind them.

"Two great fighters, two legends, two guys that put on a show. We're going to put on a great show on Saturday.

"Get the BMF, then get the title at lightweight, maybe go back to 145 – I don't know. We need some time to think this through, and everything else. One step at a time. Maybe there's a possibility of it."

Max Holloway not a fan of the 'Paramount face-off'

Saturday 7 March 2026 23:00 , Will Castle

Max Holloway has taken issue with a new pre-fight duty for main-event competitors: the somewhat over-produced face-off used for Paramount’s promo.

“We’ve got to do that face-off, that Paramount face-off with each other now, which is absolutely ridiculous,” Holloway said.

“I don’t know why I wanna be facing off with this guy three or four times before the actual fight.”

White House fight falls through

Saturday 7 March 2026 22:35 , Will Castle

On the topic of the White House card...

Last night’s weigh-ins brought the revelation that a fight for the event - and by the looks if things, a big fight - has fallen through.

MMA journalist Mike Bohn caught the moment the UFC’s top brass were informed by Hunter Campbell that things had crumbled. Dejected is one way to put it.

“We’ve been working on this non-stop,” Dana White said on Ninadrama’s stream. “One of the fights literally just fell out when I walked in here. I think Hunter killed himself.”

Who will fight at UFC White House event? Ten stars who could carry the card

Saturday 7 March 2026 22:30 , Will Castle

This summer, the UFC plans to hold an unprecedented show at the White House, which could feature numerous huge fights on the South Lawn – as part of a series of events to commemorate the United States’ 250th anniversary.

Scheduled for 14 June, the day that Donald Trump will turn 80, the card is set to feature a host of high-profile fighters, with the US president claiming “almost every fight [on the card]” will be a championship contest.

And strong rumours suggest the long-awaited fightcard announcement could be TONIGHT, with Dana White revealing matchmaking has finished.

With that, here are 10 fighters The Independent thinks could feature on the card:

Dana White insists Tom Aspinall still ‘my heavyweight champion’ after shock Matchroom move

Saturday 7 March 2026 22:15 , Will Castle

Dana White has insisted that Tom Aspinall is still “my heavyweight champion” amid his shock move to rival promoter Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom.

“He is my heavyweight champion,” he said on Piers Morgan Uncensored. “The company has talked to him. I haven't talked to him. Tom and I obviously need to talk.

“Tom came out recently, his dad too, they felt like I had s*** on them in the way that I spoke about his eye injury, which was absolutely, positively not the case.

"Tom Aspinall is a guy that I respect. He's great to work with. Never once did I question his injury or speak negatively about him. I said: 'I think he is OK, I think he is going to be good.' And they came out and said: 'No, that's not the case.'

“He said: 'I haven't talked to Dana, I don't know why he would say that.' But obviously my medical team is talking to him. That was what I thought.

“They thought I had knocked him in some way which I absolutely, positively have not, and would not. I like him very much and respect him. I've never had a problem with Tom Aspinall.”

Max Holloway and Charles Oliveira meet again over BMF title

Saturday 7 March 2026 21:15 , Will Castle

Tonight’s headliner pits BMF champion Max Holloway against Charles Oliveira in a clash of two of the UFC’s truly beloved fire-fighters.

When Oliveira and Holloway first met in 2015, the latter was early in his UFC career, while Oliveira had already been in the promotion for five years – yet the best was ahead for both.
