UFC 310 video: Ian Machado Garry, Shavkat Rakhmonov make weight for welterweight title eliminator

LAS VEGAS – The co-main event for the UFC’s final pay-per-view of the year is official after the title contenders made weight Friday.

Ahead of UFC 310 (ESPN+), which takes place Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, unbeaten welterweights Ian Machado Garry (18-0 MMA, 8-0 UFC) and Shavkat Rakhmonov (15-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) stepped on the scale for their title eliminator at the official weigh-ins.

Despite his size relative to his division, Rakhmonov was the first of all fighters to step on the scale. He stood tall and looked unfazed by the cut, as he registered at 171 pounds.

Twenty-six minutes later, Garry hit his mark also at 171 pounds. He remained stoic as he flexed and beat his chest.

Check out the video from their trips to the scale above.
