BOSTON – MMA Junkie was on scene and reporting live from Friday’s official UFC 292 fighter weigh-in.
The early weigh-ins took place at the UFC host hotel in Boston and precede the ceremonial weigh-ins for the fans, which take place at 5 p.m. ET at TD Garden in Boston. The same venue hosts Saturday’s event, which has a main card on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and ESPN+. All fighters hit their respective marks.
Among those weighing in were bantamweight champions Aljamain Sterling (23-3 MMA, 15-3 UFC) and challenger Sean O’Malley (16-1 MMA, 8-1 UFC), who meet in the main event, and women’s strawweight champ Zhang Weili (23-3 MMA, 7-2 UFC) and challenger Amanda Lemos (13-2-1 MMA, 7-2 UFC), who fight in the co-feature. All four title-fight athletes hit their marks.
