Vitor Petrino showed off his ground game against Marcin Prachnio.
Petrino (9-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) submitted Prachnio (16-7 MMA, 3-5 UFC) in the third round on Saturday in their light heavyweight bout at UFC 290 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
The undefeated Brazilian fighter was able to control Prachnio on the ground, before cinching in the fight-ending triangle choke to notch his first-career submission win (via ESPN MMA).

Petrino has notched two wins since punching his ticket to the UFC through Dana White’s Contender Series last September. Meanwhile, Prachnio was submitted for the first time in his career and has now lost two of his past three.
