The third numbered UFC event of the year is rapidly approaching with UFC 285 on Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
As always, some marquee on-air talent will be there to help guide viewers through the experience.
Details of who will be working as commentators and analysts for the have been acquired by MMA Junkie through a person with knowledge of the plans – and you can see the scheduled broadcast team below.
UFC 285 broadcast
UFC 285’s main card airs on pay-per-view/streams via ESPN+ pay-per-view for residents in the U.S. beginning at 10 p.m. ET.
Televised prelims on ESPNews and ESPN+ start at 8 p.m. ET following early prelims, which are tentatively slated to begin at 5:30 p.m. ET and stream on ESPN+.
UFC 285 desk analysts
Former UFC light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans and former title challenger and current 205-pound contender Anthony Smith will serve as desk analysts.
UFC 285 roving reporter
Longtime UFC correspondent Megan Olivi will conduct pre- and post-fight interviews backstage with some of the athletes on the card, as well as report additional real-time updates for the event.
UFC 285 octagon announcer
The most famous octagon announcer in MMA history will do his thing once again. Bruce Buffer will introduce the fighters before battle at yet another massive event for the company.
UFC 285 cageside commentators
Jon Anik will serve as the leading man on the mic from cageside, and he will command play-by-play alongside color commentators, Joe Rogan and UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier.
It will be Rogan’s first commentary assignment of the year after UFC 283 in January took place in Brazil and UFC 284 in February went down in Australia, and he doesn’t call international events outside of North America.
Cormier, meanwhile, will be in the booth for the return fight of former opponent Jon Jones, who fights Ciryl Gane for the vacant heavyweight title in the UFC 285 main event. “Bones” has already said he has no issues with Cormier doing commentary for his fight, despite them previously having one of the most heated rivalries in UFC history.
