UEFA to investigate half-time confrontation during Ireland-Israel game

UEFA has opened an investigation into the confrontation at half-time in Sunday’s behind-closed-doors Nations League draw between the Republic of Ireland and Israel in Serbia.

During the altercation at the TSC Arena in Backa Topola, the Press Association understands a member of the Republic’s backroom staff, fitness coach Damien Doyle, alleged he was spat at by an Israel player.
