UEFA's Club Financial Control Body (CFCB) announced on Friday that it has cleared the way for several teams to participate in next season's competitions following the relaxation of rules on multi-club ownership by Europe's soccer governing body.
Earlier, proceedings had been opened against Aston Villa and Vitoria Sport Clube, Brighton & Hove Albion and Royal Union Saint-Gilloise, as well as AC Milan and Toulouse, due to potential conflicts with the multi-club ownership rule.
