Two of the great centre forwards of the modern era will clash in Oslo, although Erling Haaland and Cristiano Ronaldo are at different stages of their respective careers. One is overshadowing the other right now.

While Haaland bagged a brace in Norway’s 3-2 win over Denmark on Thursday, Ronaldo endured a frustrating match against Wales on the same night. The 41-year-old isn’t the goalscoring force for Portugal he was even a few years ago.

Nonetheless, this will be a heavyweight clash between a Portugal side stacked with elite-level talent and a Norway outfit that lived up to their billing as dark horses at the 2026 World Cup.

Here is your complete guide on how to watch today’s Uefa Nations League fixture, including kick-off times, broadcast networks, and online streaming options.

What to watch for

Norway’s status among Europe’s elite is now well-established after a run that saw them reach the quarter-finals of the World Cup. With Haaland leading the line, the Scandinavians have the ability to overcome any opponent on their day. Portugal will know that.

Portugal are entering a new era under Jorge Jesus while also extending the Ronaldo era many believe should have ended at the 2026 World Cup, if not before then. Their underwhelming performance against Wales on Thursday once more suggested Ronaldo is holding back his national team.

The outcome of Sunday’s match could have a big bearing on who wins Group 4 in the A level of the Nations League with Norway and Portugal both targeting top spot. Haaland and Ronaldo will hog the spotlight, but there is plenty that could make this encounter compelling.

Player to watch: Erling Haaland, Norway - Haaland has scored seven goals in seven games for Manchester City this season and remains arguably the sharpest finisher of his generation for club and country. If Norway are to overcome Portugal, Haaland will surely have to play a key role.
