Croatia and England have a lot of history together. Luka Modric and Co knocked Gareth Southgate’s side out of the 2018 World Cup before the Three Lions got their revenge at Euro 2020 and the 2026 World Cup.

Opta’s supercomputer gives England a 48.6% chance of winning in Rijeka with Croatia’s chances put at 27.4%. Thomas Tuchel’s team appear to have the edge after a comfortable 2-0 victory over Czechia on Tuesday.

Slaven Bilic’s Croatia suffered a heavy 4-1 defeat to Spain in their last outing. Croatia have lost five of their 10 games in 2026. They have never lost six games in a single year before.

Here is your complete guide on how to watch today’s Uefa Nations League fixture, including kick-off time, broadcast networks and online streaming options.

What to watch for

England are on a run of eight consecutive away wins after beating Czechia on Tuesday. A ninth straight away win on Saturday would equal the Three Lions’ all-time record, a mark that stretches all the way back to the days of Alf Ramsey.

Tuchel has a point to prove after England’s disappointing exit in the World Cup semi-finals and the comfortable win over Czechia went some way to earn the German more time. The home loss to Spain before that, though, continued a pattern of England falling short against the strongest opponents.

Croatia may not be as strong as they were a few years ago with several of their best players well into the twilight of their careers, but they still have the quality to test England. Younger players such as Martin Baturina and Petar Sucic could make a meaningful impact.

Player to watch: Harry Kane, England – Kane has scored nine goals in his last 11 appearances for England. The Bayern Munich striker is operating at the peak of his powers and could become just the fourth player to score in six consecutive away games for the Three Lions.
