A 12 year-old schoolboy is in hospital after a 'huge' explosion at a Glasgow industrial estate.
Four fire engines raced to the scene at Tannochside Industrial Estate in Uddingston, at around 9.10pm on Monday June 5. Emergency services attended and the child was found injured at the scene.
The boy was rushed to hospital for treatment, where his condition is unknown. According to the Record, online reports say the 12 year-old suffered burns as a result of the blaze, however this has not been officially confirmed.

Officers say enquiries remain ongoing as they try to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.10pm on Monday, June 5, police were called to an industrial unit in Bedlay View, Tannochside Industrial Estate, Uddingston following reports of an explosion. SFRS and police attended and the fire was quickly extinguished.
"A 12-year-old boy was taken to hospital following the fire and enquiries remain ongoing to ascertain the full circumstances of the incident.”
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 9.08pm on Monday, June 5 to initial reports of a building fire on Bedlay View, Uddingston. Operations Control mobilised a total of four fire appliances to the scene, where firefighters extinguished a fire affecting a skip and a heavy goods vehicle.
The Scottish Ambulance Service have been approached for comment.
