UConn forward Alex Karaban has decided to return to campus for his junior season after withdrawing from the NBA draft. The 6-foot-8 sophomore has been a key player for the Huskies, starting in 77 of his 78 games since joining the team. Last season, Karaban averaged 13.3 points and 5.1 rebounds per game as UConn achieved a remarkable 37-3 record and secured back-to-back NCAA Tournament titles, a feat not seen since Florida's consecutive wins in 2006 and 2007.

No program has won three consecutive national titles since UCLA's dominant run of seven straight championships from 1967 to 1973. Karaban expressed his commitment to UConn, stating on social media, 'While I've enjoyed the draft process, Storrs is home. Let's run it back!'

Joining Karaban in withdrawing from the NBA draft is Clemson guard Chase Hunter, who played a pivotal role in the Tigers' journey to the Elite Eight last season. The 6-foot-4 senior from Atlanta averaged 12.9 points per game and led Clemson with 116 assists. Despite declaring for the draft last month, Hunter was not selected to participate in the league's draft combine.

Hunter's standout performance in the NCAA Tournament saw him average 17.8 points in four games and earn a spot on the All-West Region team. Both Karaban and Hunter are opting to continue their collegiate careers, aiming for further success in the upcoming season.
