U.S. President Joe Biden nominates Indian-American attorney Arun Subramanian to U.S. District Judge in New York

Arun Subramanian Joe Biden New York

U.S. President Joe Biden has nominated Indian-American attorney Arun Subramanian to be U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of New York.

A communication in this regard was on September 6 sent to the Senate by the White House along with other judicial nominations.

If confirmed by the Senate, Mr. Subramanian would be the first South Asian judge to serve on the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
