The U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem has issued a travel restriction for U.S. government employees and their family members in response to reports of Israel conducting a retaliatory strike inside Iran. The restriction prohibits personal travel outside the greater Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Be’er Sheva areas until further notice. However, government personnel are allowed to transit between these three areas for personal travel.
This warning comes after a similar advisory was issued last week, preceding Iran's missile attack on Israel over the weekend. The embassy emphasized the importance of caution and heightened personal security awareness for U.S. citizens, noting that security incidents in the region often occur without warning.
