A U.S. B-52H Stratofortress heavy bomber that took off from England is pictured flying over Middle Eastern territories.
It was joined by Royal Air Force of Oman Eurofighter Typhoons above Oman and Qatar Emiri Air Force F-15QAs over the Arabian Gulf. The bomber’s flight originated at Royal Air Force Fairford, near Cirencester, and flew over the East Mediterranean, Arabian Peninsula, and Red Sea before departing the region.

The aircraft can carry nuclear or precision-guided conventional ordnance with worldwide precision navigation capability.
In a conventional conflict, the B-52 can perform strategic attack, close-air support, air interdiction, offensive counter-air and maritime operations.
Since the conflict started in Ukraine, there have been numerous sightings of jets passing over Bristol.
