Tyson Fury walks out of Sky Sports interview after Daniel Kinahan questions

Tyson Fury walked out of an interview with Sky Sports on Tuesday after he was asked a number of questions about his relationship with Daniel Kinahan.

The WBC world heavyweight champion previously publicly praised the mob boss for his role in agreeing a deal for Fury to fight Anthony Joshua in 2020, but the fight never went ahead.

Fury, who has no involvement in crime, also bizarrely endorsed Kinahan for Prime Minister in a social media post just under two years ago.

But the 33-year-old now claims he has “absolutely zero” business with Kinahan, having been pictured with him as recently as February.

His comments come after Kinahan, 44, was last week sanctioned by the US Government who placed a €4.6million bounty on his head, along with his father Christy Snr and brother Christy Jnr.

When asked by Sky Sports what his relationship would be with Kinahan going forward, Fury said: "I've just had a million questions about this rubbish before, but like I've said to them, it's none of my business, and I don't get involved in others' business, so it doesn't really concern me."

He was then asked if he was still close to the Dubliner, to which he replied: "To be honest I've never been close to anybody apart from my wife and kids, so there we are."

When it was highlighted that Fury had dealings with Kinahan in the past, the boxer commented: "What a man does in his own business is none of my concern, I am a boxing man, I don't get involved in anyone's business at all. I don't care what you've done, I'm only concerned in what I do, and I don't do anything apart from box. End of."

He then added that he has not done any dealing business with Kinahan "for a long time".

Fury explained: "I think there was a statement released in 2020, so that was the end of the business. The fight with Joshua didn't happen and that was it."

When asked a final question about if he should be distancing himself from Kinahan, Fury walked out of the interview and claimed he would not be speaking to Sky again.

He said: "I think it's going to be a great fight on the night. I'm not here to talk politics, war or religion from you, trying to probe for me to say something. I'm not interested in others' concerns. Don't care, none of my business. I'm a boxing man and I've got a fight to think about, enough said.

"Thank you very much and I won't be doing any more interviews with Sky."
