Artur Beterbiev versus Dmitry Bivol: where to watch the boxing in London

Second clash: the light heavyweight stars put on a monstrous show last time out - (Getty Images)

What was widely dubbed one of the greatest cards in boxing history has somewhat fallen apart, after Daniel Dubois has had to pull out from the defence of his heavyweight title against Joseph Parker, on the grounds of illness. Elsewhere on the card, Floyd Schofield has withdrawn from his WBC lightweight title fight against Shakur Stevenson, likewise on health grounds.

Instead, Parker will face Martin Bakole, widely considered one of the most dangerous heavyweights fighting today.

But heading the bill will be Artur Beterbiev facing Dmitry Bivol, in what is set to be a magnificent undisputed light heavyweight clash.

Parker — following impressive winning bouts over Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang — is looking on fine form for his bout tonight, February 22 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. But Parker’s replacement, Bakole, 31, has won 21 of his 22 professional fights, with his last victory came Jared Anderson in August. It is set to be close fight.

A ring walk for the pair will be shown live on Sky Sports Box Office from 9pm, after which the star fight between Beterbiev and Bivol gets under way from 10.30pm.

Beterbiev was crowned as the undisputed light-heavyweight champion after beating Bivol by majority decision after an epic battle in October. It was a hotly debated result and now Bivol has his chance to take revenge.

There is a lot of undercard action before these two fights starting from 4pm, though most pubs and bars will be showing Premier League action and England’s Six Nations match against Scotland (4.45pm kick-off) until the evening. To watch from home costs £19.95. The venues below will be screening the later boxing and it is advisable to check and book ahead of time.
