Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte: TV channel, live stream, start time, fight card

The long awaited fight between Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte takes place at Wembley Stadium this evening (April 23rd), with the WBC and The Ring heavyweight titles on the line. There will be 94,000 people under the famous Wembley arch - this would be a record for a European fight in the 21st century.

Whyte is the mandatory WBC challenger after establishing himself as the number one contender with the Mexico City based World Boxing Council. He beat Alexander Povetkin in a March 2021 rematch in Gibraltar after being beaten by the Russian fighter in August 2020 at the Matchroom Fight Camp organised by Eddie Hearn.

Fury, meanwhile, is the undefeated WBC and The Ring champion as well as being one of the best pound for pound fighters in the world after beating Deontay Wilder twice in their epic trilogy after drawing the first fight. Also on the card is Tommy Fury vs Daniel Bocianski, the younger brother of Tyson enters the ring for the first time since withdrawing from his December fight against Jake Paul.

What has been said?

Fury: "We're going to treat you all to a hell of a barnstormer. He's a good fighter. A good, strong, solid man. He has good punch with good power - he's knocked out a lot of men.

"He's definitely a man who needs a lot of respect and that's what I've given him by my training camp. I've trained as hard for Dillian as I have for [Deontay] Wilder, [Wladimir] Klitschko or anybody.

"I see the odds and laugh a bit because they're coming from people who don't know anything about boxing. This is heavyweight boxing. Anyone can win with one punch. If I'm not on my A Game, this guy will knock my head right off my shoulders."

Whyte: "It's a big fight and I'm excited to be here. Sorry I couldn't be here earlier but I'm here now. You lot hear one side because they say a lot of things. Because I don't say anything, they say you're scared or hiding.

"We've had different sparring partners and different things. We're trying to cover every angle because he's unpredictable.

"He can be unpredictable so we're just trying to be as ready as we can be, trying to create all different kinds of circumstances, different situations so whatever he brings, we'll be ready."
