Tyson Fury was seen enjoying breakfast in the Rhondda on Saturday. The self-professed Gypsy King attracted a crowd of onlookers after he was spotted polishing off a fry-up at a café in Ynyshir at around 10am.
"But what was the two-time heavyweight boxing champion of the world doing eating scrambled eggs and sausages in the Valleys at 10am on a Saturday?" we hear you cry. Well the reason behind the towering sports star turning up unexpectedly can be linked to the same man responsible for him also having been snapped topless outside a branch of Domino's Pizza in Pontyclun recently.
Back then the shirtless star had been out for a jog prior to glad-handing fans at a meet-and-greet event organised by nearby gym owner Brendan Lyons, a local boy and former boxer who also happens to be the boxer's head of security. On Saturday though Lyons brought the 33-year-old heavy hitter back to south Wales to cut the ribbon at the grand opening of Bruncheria – a new eatery run by his wife Kelly Lyons.

After finishing his meal Fury – who bowed out of professional boxing after his win over Dillian Whyte at Wembley in April – left to head to WrestleFest 2022 in Cardiff ahead of the WWE Clash At The Castle face-off between Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns at the Principality Stadium with Fury set to take a ringside seat.
Fury is also currently in the spotlight amid renewed speculation that he might emerge from retirement and re-enter the ring with former World's Strongest Man Thor Bjornsson suggesting he'd like to fight him in a possible exhibition bout. Following his recent defeat of Anthony Joshua Ukraine's Oleksandr Usyk has also been linked to a high-profile show-down with the Englishman in early 2023.
