Frank Warren has indicated a replacement opponent will be on standby to fight Tyson Fury in the event that Dillian Whyte pulls out of the world title fight.
Fury defends his WBC heavyweight title against interim titleholder Whyte on April 23 at Wembley. 'The Bodysnatcher' enters his first world title shot as the underdog as he hopes to become the first fighter to dethrone the 'Gypsy King'.
When asked if Queensbury Promotions will have a replacement opponent on standby, Warren told Seconds Out : "The truth of the matter is that we cover all bases". Concern as to whether Whyte will fight Fury comes after he refused to attend the press conference last month.
