Tyson Fury's American co-promoter Bob Arum will sever all ties with Daniel Kinahan, after the Fury-linked businessman was sanctioned by the US government and named as part of a cocaine smuggling operation. A $5 million reward has been offered for any information leading to the 44-year-old's arrest.
The world heavyweight champion was pictured with Kinahan in Dubai in February, which is believed to be the destination from which Kinahan conducts his business affair. The pair have been pictured closely together through the years, with Fury being the most high-profile client of the sports management company founded by Kinahan, MTK Global, which he left in 2017.
Kinahan was also prominent in negotiations for a fight between Fury and Anthony Joshua, before a deal fell through following a US court ruling stating that Fury must fight Deontay Wilder one final time instead. Fury praised Kinahan's role in the fight at the time, saying: "I'm just after getting off the phone there with Daniel Kinahan.

"He's just informed me that the biggest fight in British boxing history has just been agreed.". Fury added: "Big shout out Dan, he got this done. Literally over the line. Two fight deal."
Despite well publicised links in the past, members of Fury's team appear to be distancing themselves from Kinahan, with Arum confirming that he would be looking to sever ties with the 'boxing adviser'. He told the Daily Mail: "We are not going to deal with Daniel.
"We will respect the sanctions. We will deal directly with Tyson [Fury] or his lawyer... I wasn't pleased with a number of things he [Kinahan] was doing in boxing. I was looking to sever ties anyway."
Fury will be keen to avoid distractions ahead of his world heavyweight championship fight with Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium next Saturday evening. The fight could well be Fury's last, after appearing to confirm his retirement last month, and the self-styled 'Gypsy King' will be keen to bow out on a high.
