Tyson Fury net worth after making £13m profit ahead of Oleksandr Usyk fight

Tyson Fury enjoyed a hugely successful year in 2022, with two massive stadium fights against Dillian Whyte and Derek Chisora earning him over £45 million.

Fury won against both fellow British fighters in huge stadium bouts at Wembley and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with the victories setting him up for a huge unification bout against Oleksandr Usyk this year. Despite the money earned, he will have been disappointed to miss out on a potentially huge fight against Anthony Joshua, with talks for a potentially huge all-British clash falling through back in September.

His win against Dillian Whyte in April set the record for the biggest purse bid in boxing history, with Frank Warren and Bob Arum securing the rights to stage the fight. This earned Fury over £25 million, with his opponent pocketing £5.5 million.

Following this, and the breakdown in talks with Anthony Joshua, he faced Chisora for a third time in what amounted for another easy with for the Gypsy King. This earned him over £21 million, slightly less than his win against Whyte but still a huge sum which took his yearly earnings over £45 million.

Having earned £46 million for his US trilogy against Deontay Wilder, Fury's commercial value is evident and this has been demonstrated by his company 'Tyson Fury Ltd' making a £13 million profit in the tax year April 2021-March 2022.

This was revealed on Twitter by sports finance expert Kieran Maguire, who uploaded a screenshot of the publicly available statement of the company's finances with the caption: “Successful year for Tyson Fury Ltd which made a £13m net profit to 31 March 2022 and finished the year with £43m in the bank”.

That financial year saw Fury fight just once, with his win against Deontay Wilder in October 2021. However, the current tax year could see three fights for Fury as he is expected to face Usyk before the April 6 deadline.
