Tyson Fury names the Everton player he would like to go partying with

There's no hiding the fact that Tyson Fury loves a good party and now he's extended an invitation to an Everton player to join him.

Fury retained his WBC world heavyweight title on Saturday evening, when he stopped Derek Chisora in the 10th round, maintaining his unbeaten record and setting up a possible title match with Oleksandr Usyk.

But prior to the Chisora bout at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the Gypsy King was asked to turn his attentions to the World Cup in Qatar and name the England player he would most like to go on a night out with. And when it came to naming a wing-man, Fury opted for Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford to keep the party going.

As per Givemesport, Fury said: “Jordan Pickford. He seems like a laugh to go on a drink with. I’m 100 per cent going to get messy with the fans. I’m known for that.

“I’m going to sneak a few cases into my suitcase. They can have anything they want — whatever gets them going. Think of Euro 2016 when I went to Nice and bought 200 fans Jager bombs.”

Pickford himself is no stranger to slice of post-match celebrating after he was photographed partying hard following England's Euro 2020 final defeat to Italy. He also has boots with the phrase 'Get the rave on' stitched into them.

Should Pickford choose to take up Fury's offer, Frank Lampard will be hoping that his goalkeeper delays his evening of excess until the end of the season, although should the Three Lions go all the way in Qatar, different rules may apply.
