Tyson Fury mocks Jake Paul with "teeth" jibe after agreeing $1 million fight bet

Tyson Fury has claimed Jake Paul should spend $1 million on dental work after fighting his brother Tommy following their fight bet.

The 'Gypsy King' has been heavily involved in the high-profile rivalry between Paul and his brother Tommy, who has finally got his opportunity to face Paul on August 6 in New York. Fury initially spoke about placing a bet worth $100,000 with anyone on his brother defeating the YouTube star later this year.

Paul then responded offering Fury a bet for $1 million which Fury and Paul both accepted during a comical back-and-forth on social media. Fury has since released a new Twitter video mocking Paul, where he said: "What you can do Jakey boy is spend it on your new teeth. You will need that $1 million for dental work when Tommy is done with you, you little sucker. Put that $1 million in escrow b**** let's go."

WARNING STRONG LANGUAGE:

Paul and Fury's brother Tommy agreed a $500,000 bet that the British star would change his name to 'Tommy Fumbles' if he lost for their previous fight last December. However Fury was forced to withdraw from the bout after suffering a broken rib and the resulting wager was cancelled.

The YouTube star is supremely confident of defeating Fury's brother Tommy despite admitting that his upcoming test will be a huge risk to his short boxing career. Heavyweight champion Tyson will be unable to attend the clash having been banned from entering the US according to his father.

Doubts were initially raised on the bout being signed and completed after the news, but after a 24-hour deadline was set by Paul, Fury signed his contract and vowed to permanently "shut up" his rival. Fury's brother Tyson appears to have faith in his sibling and has claimed that he won't be able to call himself a fighter if he can't defeat the YouTuber.

"If Tommy Fury can't win against Jake Paul he has no right in being a fighter," Fury said when assessing the fight in an interview with iFL TV. "I think Tommy knocks him out and he has got to believe in himself and go over there and put on a show. He has to enjoy it as he's getting paid a lot of money to fight a guy who hasn't fought on an actual boxer.

"I don't think either of them having anything to lose. He has had eight fights and he is getting paid a lot of money and Jake Paul has never fought an actual boxer. Let's just say Tommy gets paid millions of pounds for nothing if he loses, because he wouldn't have won any title belt in England ever if he can't beat Jake Paul."

Fury will head into the contest as the marginal favourite having had a natural boxing background throughout the early stages of his career. However his family name could bear heavy and add further pressure with the opportunity to hand Paul his first loss.
